CCTV Xinwen Lianbo1 made a special report entitled "Balance of CISF Exceeds RMB90 Billion" on January 31, 2017, the fourth day of the Chinese New Year. The full text of the special report is read as follows:

As of December 31, 2016, the balance of the Chinese insurance security fund arrived at RMB94.226 billion, jumping by 33.75% year on year. Specifically, the balance of property insurance fund achieved RMB60.956 billion, accounting for 64.69%. The balance of life insurance fund was RMB33.27 billion, taking up for 35.31%.
