January 6 - CISFC released the 14th Five-Year Plan of China Insurance Security Fund Co.,Ltd., defining the guiding philosophy, development objectives, and major tasks of the company’s development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), and building a solid foundation for fulfilling the responsibilities of preventing and defusing major financial risks.
January 13 to 14 - CISFC held the 24th meeting of the Risk Assessment Expert Committee for Insurance Industry online.
January 20 - CISFC held a summary conference for the Party history learning and education.
January 26 - CISFC held the 2022 Annual Work Conference, the work conference on comprehensive and strict Party self-governance, Party conduct, and clean governance, and the work conference on disciplinary inspection.

February 28 - CISFC held a CPC Committee meeting to deliver the key points of findings in the inspection by the Fourth Central Inspection Team on the CPC Committee of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC).

March 18 - CISFC held an online training session for final settlement, covering over 170 insurance companies, to guarantee the completion of the final settlement for 2021.

April 21 - The CISFC Youth League Committee organized an event themed “Welcome the 20th CPC National Congress, Always Follow the Party and Forge Ahead on the New Journey” to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China.
April 29 - CISFC held an open-discussion meeting themed “Listen to the Youth Voice and Promote the Development of Protection Fund”, where young employees talked face-to-face with leaders of the CISFC CPC Committee.
April 29 - CISFC implemented the paired assistance tasks assigned by the CBIRC, donating RMB 1million to the government of Chahar Right Middle Banner, Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia.

May 31 - CISFC held a cadres meeting, where the CBIRC Vice Chairman and CPC Committee Member Cao Yu attended and delivered an important speech. According to the appointment letter, Ji Yuhua serves as the Secretary of the CISFC CPC Committee and the Chairman of the Board.
June
June - CISFC completed the final settlement for 2021. The final settlement covered 172 insurance companies with an audited contribution amount of RMB13,221 million. In particular, RMB 696 million of 23 insurance companies were exempted because of their contribution to the critical illness insurance; 12 were eligible for contribution suspension; four contributed based on the balance of the contribution cap and contribution base as they approach the conditions for contribution suspension.
June 16 - CISFC held an expanded meeting of the CPC Committee and a special CPC Committee meeting, addressing the review and investigation decision on Fu Fei by the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team of the CBIRC, the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Beijing Municipal Supervisory Commission. CISFC firmly defends the “Two Establishes”, stays committed to the “Two Upholds”, and resolutely implements the work deployed by the CPC CBIRC Committee and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team at the CBIRC. It takes the case as a warning, draws inferences, and constantly sounds the alarm. CISFC shall unswervingly exercise strict Party self-governance in every respect and promote the construction of the Party’s working style and a clean and honest administration.

July 6 - The CISFC CPC Committee launched a special event themed “Fulfill the Original Aspiration, Observe Disciplines and Laws, Be Ambitious to Build a Powerful Country”, aiming to strengthen the education, management, and supervision of young cadres.
July 15 - Beijing Financial Court ruled to accept the bankruptcy reorganization of E An Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. CISFC issued the Notice on the Protection of Rights and Interests of Policy Creditors of E An Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. and participated in the bankruptcy reorganization procedure on behalf of relevant policyholders.

August - CISFC released the Risk Assessment Report on China Insurance Industry 2022.

September 28 - CISFC held a safety production conference and a plenary (enlarged) conference of the Safety Production Committee.

October 13 - The results of the 2022 “CISFC Youth Role Models” were announced. 22 young employees were awarded the honorary title.
October 14 - The CISFC CPC Committee convened all Party and non-Party employees to listen to the radio or watch the live broadcast of the opening session of the 20th CPC National Congress.

October 26 - The Measures for the Administration of the Insurance Security Fund (Order [2022] No. 7 of the CBIRC, the MOF, and the PBC) was officially issued and shall come into force as of December 12, 2022.

December 30 - CISFC’s R&D & International Affairs Department (Editorial Office of Observation of Insurance Risk) was awarded the title of “Excellent Enterprise for Cultural Development in Financial System in 2021-2022” by the Research Association of Ideological and Political Work of China Financial Institutions.
