CISFC held the 2023 Q3 Investment Supervision Conference of the Insurance Security Fund.Portfolio overseers and liaison officers from 10 investment managers and custodian banks attended the Conference.

    The conference exchanged views on the investment supervision of different portfolios in Q3 and key aspects of work for the next step, mainly explained the inspection contents of entrusted assets management business for 2023, and discussed the list of subjects of concern in the real estate industry.

    As stressed at the meeting, investment managers and custodians should carry out investment supervision of portfolios as per the following requirements in the next stage. First, investment managers and custodians should actively conduct self-inspection, make sure that on-site inspections are properly performed, and take this business inspection as an opportunity to check and make up for deficiencies, thus strengthening the foundation of entrusted investment business. Second, investment managers and custodians should continue to monitor the credit standings of relevant entities in the real estate industry and other relevant industries, and avoid potential market risk and liquidity risk while preventing credit risk. Third, investment managers and custodians should continue to maintain good communication, ensure stable operation of portfolios, promptly give advice and suggestions on investment supervision, and make concerted efforts to strengthen entrusted assets management capability.
