On December 26, 2023, CISFC held the 2023 Q4 Investment Supervision Conference of the Insurance Security Fund.Portfolio overseers and liaison officers from ten investment managers and custodian banks attended the meeting.

    The conference summed up the investment supervision in 2023 Q4 and the annual business inspection, interpreted and briefed on key investment supervision matters, and put forward the requirements on investment supervision for the next stage.

    The meeting stressed that in the next stage, investment managers should continue to ensure a good job in supervision of portfolio investment as per the following requirements. First, to ensure that the bottomline of safety is observed and strictly control investment risk. Investment managers should perform day-to-day investment supervision strictly according to the 2024 investment guidelines and investment supervision manual of CISFC and communicate with CISFC on potential risk points in a timely manner. Second, to improve work quality and efficiency and continue to improve entrusted assets management. Institutions should assist CISFC implementing the requirements for remediation of problems identified in the annual business inspection to further improve the quality of entrusted investment business.
