In July 2023, CISFC held the 2023 Q3 Investment Strategy Meeting in the combined form of online meeting and written report. The meeting analyzed and summarized the views about the market and operating strategies proposed by managers and investment advisers for the next stage, had one-to-one communication with some managers regarding the investment strategies for key portfolios as well as risk control management, and put forth clear requirements for the subsequent management of entrusted assets.

    The meeting stressed the following requirements. First, to strengthen investment research and continue to invest with prudence. Investment managers should intensify forward-looking policy and market research, work harder to analyze and predict market movements, maintain prudent investment strategies, and seize every opportunity to enhance the returns on portfolio investment. Second, to strengthen investment supervision and strictly control investment risks. Investment managers should take effective measures to better forestall various types of risk, such as compliance risk, credit risk, and market risk, thus ensuring the safety of CISF’s assets. Third, to enhance communication and maintain exchange of information. Investment managers should maintain close communication with CISF to jointly promote the high-quality development of the latter’s entrusted assets management business.
