CISFC and the Financial and Accounting Department (Solvency Regulation Department) of CIRC jointly held the meeting of the Risk Assessment Expert Committee for Insurance Industry in Beijing from July 31 to August 1, 2017. Principals of more than 30 insurance companies discussed current solvency, risk profile and proposed solutions of the life insurance and the property insurance industry, as well as liquidity stress and risk control measures at the meeting. Mr. Guo Jing, Deputy Director-General of the Financial and Accounting Department of CIRC, and Mr. Yi Cheng, Vice Chairman of CISFC, presided over the meeting, respectively. Mr. Zhang Zhongliang, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of CISFC, Mr. Zhou Fuping, Assistant General Manager of CISFC and Ms. Zhang Xiaolei, Deputy Director of the Supervision Division II of the Financial and Accounting Department of CIRC attended the meeting.

As a platform forged by CISFC and the regulatory authority to communicate with the Risk Assessment Expert Committee, the Meeting enabled the risk management professionals of the industry to get together to explore, identify and evaluate risks of the insurance industry, thereby strengthening the communication and cooperation among the regulatory authority, the monitoring institution and insurance companies, inspiring the regulators' thoughts of regulation and monitoring and conducing to further development and refinement of regulatory measures and monitoring methods.
