On January 21, Yu Hua welcomed a delegation from Swiss Re Institute led by its director Jeffrey Bohn. Zhou Fuping, CISFC Assistant General Manager, and staff on the editorial team of Observation of Insurance Risk, the internal magazine of CISFC, also attended the meeting.

After a brief introduction of CISFC, Chairwoman Yu discussed the efforts made by Observation of Insurance Risk in preventing and defusing major risks and in building a national financial safety net. Mr. Bohn described how the Institute develops a global insight into insurance risks, and shares findings in areas such as the new opportunities in the insurance industry empowered by technologies. They agreed that the two organizations are to strengthen cooperation on the development of a research and exchange platform for insurance industry risks.
